The Jigsaw Files by Sunarep

I was thinking the same thing but I guess with inserting him at the end of Jigsaw Files 1 it more or less "completes" gordon's arc whereas if i insert it at the beginning of part II it will be just a random character scene that has no effect on the story

You could always include it partway into the credits, or post credits?

Sunarep,

Did you remove the "i know who you are letter" scene since they resolved who sent it in Saw 7?

Unfortunately I don't have the original Jigsaw Files Project since it was just too huge to keep on the harddisk but I guess even if I could I would not remove it. I am pretty sure this scene was written with either:

1) Jill writing the letter in the present
2) John writing the letter in the past

there have been deleted scenes of russell delivering monotonous "i know who you are lines" into the camera si assume it was planned to be jill then dropped and retconned and frankly it doesn't really make much sense why gordon would write this letter to hoffman since they obviously have to know each other seeing as gordon helped john with pivotal traps where hoffman would have had to ask questions "by the way john how did you do that?"

Does a copy of this still exist? Ramping up for Saw X coming out and would love to check out this version. Don't see a DM option on Sunarep's profile for whatever reason.

Cheers!

It was released almost 13 years ago (wow, I feel old now). It's difficult to get it now and the A/V quality is out-dated. But no worries...
Maniac and I created two Saw fanedits: JIGSAW: A History of desperation - a 130 min chronological John Kramer's backstory (with some bends in the source material, less plotholes - more character-driven story how he became Jigsaw and gore limited to bare minimum). It's similar to The Jigsaw Files, but with many visual and music changes.

And there's a sequel - JIGSAW II: Endgame. Part II is a new spin on the story (edited from Saw 3-4 and scenes from other entries but in a different context) - more character driven plot, new surprises, less gore and the alternate ending. We wanted to play with the source material a bit and bend the plot that you already know,

Both edits works as drama / psychological thrillers in vibe of Fincher's Se7en instead of bloody horror. PM ;).
