Faneditor Name: juice4z0, Neglify & NegaJuice
Original Movie Title: Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter & Freddy Vs. Jason
Original Release Date: 1991/1984/2003
Original Running Time (Minutes): 89/91/97
Fanedit Release Date: October 2012
Fanedit Running Time (Minutes): 81/82/91
Time Cut (Minutes): 8/19/97
Time Added (Minutes): 0/10/91

Brief Synopsis:
Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees go head to head… and only one will win.

Intention:
Juice and Neg love them some 80s horror and wanted to see a Freddy vs. Jason movie that fits with the style of the earlier films.

We give you three fanedits that bridge the gap from Crystal Lake to Springwood and then some; "Final Nightmare: The Horror Cut," "Friday the 13th: The Long Night At Camp Blood" and "FvJ".

Above all else, these edits were made to entertain you, the viewer. It is mainly intended for horror fans, but even if you're a casual horror fan, we hope you enjoy this.

Editing Details:
Here is the proper chronology of films including these edits.

Nightmare on Elm Street, Nightmare on Elm Street 3-5, Final Nightmare: The Horror Cut, Friday the 13th, Friday the 13th Part 2, Friday the 13th: The Long Night At Camp Blood, FvJ

DISC 1 - Final Nightmare: The Horror Cut (by juice4z0)

I wanted to take the fucking Power Glove out of this movie and make Freddy scary again.

DISC 2 - Friday the 13th: The Long Night At Camp Blood (by Neglify)

This is a fun mash-up movie using my favorite F13 sequels, The Final Chapter and Jason Goes to Hell. This edit follows right after Friday the 13th Part 2, with Jason alive and still hungry for blood.

DISC 3 - FvJ (by NegaJuice)

This picks up where Final Nightmare: The Horror Cut and The Long Night At Camp Blood left off. Freddy Krueger manipulates Jason Voorhees into doing his dirty work so he can rise up from Hell and continue his reign of terror.

BONUS FEATURES –

Did we mention the finale of Freddy’s Dead is in 3D? And that all 3 movies have commentary by Juice and Neg? And that there is a 4th disc with plenty of bonus features?

Cuts and Additions:
*SPOILERS*

Final Nightmare: The Horror Cut

- Removed as much over-the-top dumb Freddy humor as I could
- Ending is in 3D, via branching

Friday the 13th: The Long Night At Camp Blood

-New intro sequence recapping Friday the 13th Parts 1 & 2
-The bestest sex scene from all F13 movies makes up the pre-credits kill sequence
-After the credits The Final Chapter is used for the remainder of the edit
-Cut the beginning of Final Chapter showing the aftermath of Friday the 13th Part 3 (since that movie doesn’t exist in this universe)
-Cut all discussion of George McFly being a “dead fuck”
-Deleted the hitchhiker
-Outtakes used a couple times for gorier kill shots
-Cut mention of Jason escaping from the hospital, since I cut that out
-New ending

FvJ
-Freddy vs. Jason has been reframed to 1.78:1
-New beginning sequence
-Over-the-top Freddy humor cut throughout
-Various trims to dumb shit throughout
-A couple deleted scenes added
-Footage from other Friday the 13th films have been added to make it feel less like Jason is a bit player in a Nightmare sequel
-New ending

Other Sources:
-Every goddamn Friday the 13th movie
-A couple NOES films
-Evil Dead
-Army of Darkness
-P2
-Hellraiser
-Other iconic horror movies we're sure you own

congrats on finishing, dudes!

Will this be posted on the IFDB as one 4-disc set, or will the 3 individual edits have their own entries? I only ask because giving this a proper rating is going to prove a little hard if it's posted as one entry with 3 edits.

It could work being presented like the Consecution edits

I'm trying to control my excitement for this and not just degenerate into "GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE"

Awesome cover BTW

MF killed the account already.... Working on getting them on RS now

Is it just me, or did multiple editors have to change their choice of upload from Mediafire to Rapidshare recently?

I know Juice did Marvel Origins, so I'm talking about multiple editors.

At this point im just uploading anywhere the i can keep them up so everyone can download them.

I know we are all looking for the best option now that drop boxes are cracking down.

Private torrenting is my preferred way of releasing an edit. But it limits the access to the edit.

it's not just you, it's me too ;-)

Count me in as well, since Mediafire just suspended my account.
I don't mind switching though, since Rapidshare's upload speeds are actually faster for me.

This edit sounds completely awesome.

Hello and welcome to the site.

I had to delete most of your post. Please read all the rules, you can find links to the rules at the top of every page. If you still are having trouble, please either PM the editor or post a technical-related question in the tech forum.

Yeah, that too.

Glad to see these on RS, unlike MF at least I can get them:).

Here we go again. It seems like whenever a (awesome) fanedit is released the rules has to be mentioned, again. There should be a rule that the OP should always post a link to the rules when releasing a (awesome) edit. I rule for that.
