Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.
If this is your first time here please read our FAQ and Rules pages. They have some useful information that will get us all off on the right foot, especially our Own the Source rule. If you do not understand any of these rules send a private message to one of our staff for further details.
That's a good idea.
I am not sure how it works though. When my account expires, will the files get deleted?
Although I paid for an RS acccount, I almost feel guilty because I'm downloading like a hog the last couple of days.
So I would love to help out.
jDownloader sure makes it easy to download though. heh.
Sometimes, over 1 MB/s hehehe.
And I thought my cable connection was 800 kB/s tops! :-D
So is there a quality improvement by downloading the DVDR?
I decided to try and download the DVDR torrent anyway.
yes, zeppelinrox. To both. As long as you have a premium account it is god to have the files there, because they gain you RS points for every download. Once you decide to drop that, you can still move them to a collector's account.
Yeah, I wasn't sure about the DVDR quality for this release specifically because on the review on the main page, the CD.avi qualitiy wasn't that good.
I just figured the best quality release would have been reviewed.
Unless of course, the DVDR was released after the review, then that's a different story.
Well this will be done uploading in about 7 or 8 hrs.
The avi CD torrent contained the Sgt. Fury comic book, True Romance picture/poster, and an info file.
The DVDR, which I haven't finished downloading (via torrent), contains the DVD cover, 3D DVD picture, and the screenplay.(I thought it odd that the DVDR torrent doesn't contain the comic or the info file)
So I decided to combine all 6 items into a zip file.
I also uploaded the avi torrent along with a torrent for the DVDR release (which downloading slowly but surely)
The DVDR torrent downloaded pretty quickly.
It only took a day and a half.
The picture quality is indeed alot better.
It's a bit brighter and sharper and less pixelated.
The difference is very noticable in the dimly lit interior scenes.
It's even more noticeable on a big widescreen
This being the case, I'm currently uploading to RS.
Again, I incluced the extra stuffings
