I am unreasonably entertained by the Pirates films, no matter how many times I watch them. The Godfather is a masterpiece of cinema, but I'm not posting which trilogies I think are the best, I'm posting which ones I enjoy the most. :)

1. Indiana Jones (assuming we lose the fourth one. kiwf)
2. Star Wars Original Trilogy
3. The Terminator (the third one was meh, but the first two were so good that it kind of cancels out)
4. Toy Story
5. Die Hard
6. Back to the Future (yay for the first and second, eh for the third)
7. Bourne
8. Lord of the Rings (I'm not gonna lie. I don't like these movies as much as most people.)
9. Pirates of the Caribbean (third was kind of meh though)
10. X-Men (third was kind of eh)

Out of those 10 I posted, my favorites are:

1. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (go ahead and bash me for it)
2. Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
3. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
4. Toy Story 3
5. Die Hard
6. Back to the Future
7. The Bourne Ultimatum
8. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
9. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
10. X2: X-Men United

George Romero's Trilogy Of The Dead - Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead

Mighty Ducks 3 forever!
Let's fly!

I won't bash you for it, it is my favourite Indiana Jones film.

My top ten woudl be: -

1) Star Wars OT
2) Indiana Jones
3) Back to the future
4) Die Hard
5) LOTR
6) Pirates (3rd was overlong and not great)
7) Bourne
8) Toy Story
9) Spider-man (1st ok and 3rd was not great, but simply love the 2nd so have to include)
10) Blade (Again 3rd not great)

The Ducks movies are bomb to me. Yes, they are all the EXACT same formula. And sure, #1 is the best and the sequels pale in comparison. But they were such a big part of my childhood.
Yep...feeling old....

1. Original Star Wars Trilogy (The prequels do exist, but only as fan edits. The theatrical releases of the prequels are a mass hallucination / nightmare.)
2. Original Indiana Jones Trilogy ("Shia LeBouf and the Close Encounters Rip-Off Aliens" doesn't count.)
3. Back to the Future Trilogy (I'm so glad there hasn't been a fourth movie or prequel in this series.)
4. Toy Story Trilogy (Arguably the most flawlessly made of the bunch, but I grew up with the first 3 on this list, so of course they come first for me.)
5. X-Men (1, 2, and First Class. 3 and Wolverine don't count.)
6. Die Hard (1, 2, and 4. 3 was terrible.)
7. Star Trek Trilogy (II, III, and IV form a complete and satisfying story unto themselves.)
8. Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Terminator and Lethal Weapon both have 2 good installments to their name.

I guess I'm the only person who didn't think Wolverine was that bad... but 1, 2, and First Class are better.

I liked 3 and 4 about equally. But I definitely didn't think 3 was terrible.

In no particular order:

- Die Hard (not counting the 4th since it was made over a decade after the 3rd)
- Blade
- Alien (not counting Resurrection of course)
- George Romero's Dead trilogy (Night Of The Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, Day Of The Dead)
- Back To The Future (3rd one was meh)
- Kevin Smith's Jersey Trilogy (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy)
- Stieg Larsson's Girl Trilogy (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest)
- Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy (I have no doubt that I will love The Dark Knight Rises, despite Anne Hathaway as Catwoman )
- Robert Rodriquez Mexico Trilogy (El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon A Time In Mexico)
- The Terminator (Not counting Salvation of course  And I actually liked T3)

If we're allowed to use fanedits... UA's T3: The Coming Storm turned it into a respectable entry. In fact, if I could use that edit, it might even go higher on my list.

1. Star Wars Original
2. Lord of the Rings
4. The Godfather
5. Toy Story
6. Indiana Jones
7. The Man with No Name
8. Terminator
9. Back to the Future
10. Pirates of the Caribbean

If you look hard enough you'll see I left a spot for Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. But if I really had to pick one other trilogy, it would probably be Rocky/Rocky II/Rocky Balboa.

Also, no particular order:
-Mighty Ducks (guilty pleasure - just watched the whole set last week with my girlfriend)
-Die Hard original trilogy
-Dead or Alive
-Infernal Affairs
-Resident Evil (not counting Afterlife - step backwards from the first three)
-Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai trilogy
-Shigehiro Ozawa's Street Fighter trilogy
-Star Wars OT
-The Godfather
-Indiana Jones

There are other trilogies I like, but with one or two parts that just aren't that great as the rest.
If we're including fanedits:
Superman (un)official trilogy: Superman The Movie, Superman II Booshman Redux and Superman Redeemed
(although the latter could use some tweaking).

Awesome selection dude!

Funny I was thinking about both the Jersey Trilogy and Infernal affairs and they were just seconds away down the page.

So Ill have to say
1. Indiana Jones Trilogy
2. Godfather
3. Toy Story
4. Terminator (though I actually prefer salvation to 3's theatrical cut, unless I'm watching Coming Storm)
5. Infernal Affairs
6. Star Wars OT
7. X-men
8. Jurassic Park
9. Death Note 1,2 and L: Change the world (though L: Change the world is more of a spin off)
10. American Pie (STV sequels not counting)
