Scream - The Giallo Cut

I have downloaded everything and have a box ready and waiting, but cannot extract.
I have hunted everywhere but I cannot see a password!
So, what is the password please?

Thanks in advance, I can hardly wait to see this.
Cheers,

It's the standard password for edits here. That is when a password is required.

Neg usually double password protects. But standard procedure, if you can't find what you are looking for, is to PM the editor.

Please PM the editor.

Thank you FC, i had tried all sorts of other "obvious" ones but of course they were no good.

Point taken on the PM, no excuses but apologies all round.

Thanks again,
Ohmss

It's all good, no rules broken by asking for the password. I actually meant to put the password in the first post but forgot, so that's my bad.

had the opportunity to watch this last night. have to say that it's awesome. really great work here. the new music definitely adds a different flavor to the film. great work on this.

I watched it last night too, I love the new music. Unfortunately I no longer have an old TV so I had to tweak with my settings to disable upscaling and the such, and even watched without my glasses, I didn't zoom, and I hate streching 4:3 images across the screen. I was glad to see Stu's "my mom's gonna kill me" line left in, it's such a stupid moment but it always gets a good chuckle from me.

Next stop scream 2 & 3 right? :D

Thanks for the review Omaru! Yeah, I love those Stu moments as well. I had a previewer or two say they felt out of place but I loved em too much.

And thank you for the review juice!

Nice & look forward to viewing this :)

Yes, the music makes it creepy in a very good way!!!!!!!!!! :D

Sweet!

And a note to everybody who has watched it. Remember to give a review over at IFDB. I'm not afraid of honest reviews/ratings.

And seriously, 10/10 for A/V quality? Let's not lie here people. This edit looks terrible. :bolt:

No spoiler tags over at IFDB right?

Review submitted, I hope your happy now Mr. Fancy Pants!

Yes, but that's the quality you were going for, so in my book that deserves a 10/10.

I was going for choppy audio in my edit!

Goddammit man. I haven't reached for the tracking knob in 20 years and there I was like freakin Pavlov's dog about to do it again. Well done.

I love edits like this. You can tell Neglify clearly has an appreciation for the source material and this is not just an attempt to make a bad film better, but an attempt to reinterpret an already good movie. Starting points like this make for the best fanedits.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a big horror movie buff, but I am a big fan of intelligently written films and Scream is certainly one of them. Scream bleeds the post-modern self-referential aesthetic of the mid to late 90s and holds up to this day. I haven't watched it in at least 10 years, so this was a great opportunity to do so.

Neglify's edit is a lot of fun. The added score, the overall feel, the additional scenes, everything about this edit worked great. It's an original, creative idea and Neglify clearly has the technical prowess to pull it off.

AV Quality: 10/10
Delightfully abysmal.

Visual Editing: 10/10
My eyes. The goggles do nothing.

Audio Editing: 10/10
I love 70s prog. Music to my ears. Could've been even louder.

Narrative: 10/10
The added back story made the movie even better. Also, boobs.

Enjoyment: 8/10
A great way to tell the story and highly enjoyable but I think it would be much better appreciated by horror movie buffs than someone like myself. Highly recommended for any horror movie fans or even just fans of original, innovative fanedits.

My reaction to seeing you watched and reviewed the edit:

Thank you!
