I've seen a few good trailers recently for fanedits, but they are always scattered about in the project thread, sometimes front and centre, sometimes on page 3, and it feels like they can get lost. So I thought it might be an idea to have a central place to post the trailers you've created for that terrific fanedit you've spent so much time and energy on.

After having a word in Q2's ear, he said you're a big boy now, go do it.

So this is it. I'd recommend stating the title of the fanedit in the post to make it searchable, and feel free to add any other comments that you feel relevant.

Post away, I'll get us started...

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Heart Of The Maelstrom

The first trailer I made. I worked hard to get the visuals to match the lyrics, but it goes so fast I'm not sure that comes across.

Note the sound kicks in quite loud, so use caution with the volume button.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Centipede

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. - The Clairvoyant

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Deathlok

For this one I decided to use the 'Blockbuster Movie Trailer' template that was doing the rounds. For added cliche, there are some shots that aren't in the final edit.

my early trailers were not very good, but I still amuse myself with this one:

Terminator 2 - Hands of Fate

It's for my edit, Blade Runner: Danse Macabre

The purpose of the trailer was to show how different music can work with the movie, introduce changes I've made (probably only noticeable to avid fans of the original), and make something that feels like a legitimate trailer.  So far, this is the only trailer I've made and I can see it's shortcomings and if and when I decide to do it again, I'm going to make it much more contemporary.

I'm not sure they are "amazing" and I don't do many trailers because I find them a real chore to make but here are the few I have done...

This last one is just me re-creating an existing official trailer in HD...

Trailers are probably the hardest part because you think it's all over then you spend days trying to make the perfect trailer. To be honest, that's why my trailers are music only  :p

Heir to the Force

Rise of the Rebellion

Usually when I look back at my old trailers I sort of cringe.  I see things now that I could have easily done better now, or I question the choices I made at the time.   Always learning... :p

I hate making trailers but I've done it so I can say I've done it.

I'm sure I made one for my Austin Powers edit but I'll be borked if I can't find it.

I’m very proud of this one. Haven’t finished the edit yet so the May 2017 claim is incorrect, but whatever.

I'm not usually one for mashing up Star Wars with pop songs, but your editing in this one made it work. I especially like the emotion you evoked. This makes me think ROTJ is a Guardian's of the Galaxy type of film. Well, I just might have to go mess with that idea now. Good work there :)

Thank you very much  :D  I agree, not a huge fan of doing that either, but sometimes it works. In this case, I was full-on Logan mode at the time making it (still love that movie) and I thought this really fit what I wanted to do with the edit.

Just a quick one I knocked up last night for my Back to the Future TV edit now submitted to the academy, my first go at a trailer, I'll probably do a bit more work on it and edit this link but heres a rough cut anyway.

Trailer for my ten 30min episodes TV edit of the Back to The Future Trilogy - The Hill Valley Chronicles

Titanic: The Maiden Voyage - a fan edit of an official trailer (more details in the project thread)
