this is by far the hardest to make right. This could turn into a campy stupid mess so easily. Until i see something good from this movie.

“Road to Knowhere” – The newly-christened Guardians of the Galaxy come into possession of a dangerous artifact that has Thanos’ new lieutenant, Korath, after them.
“Knowhere to Run” — The Guardians struggle to subdue the suddenly-sprung-to-life Celestial head that is the Knowhere space colony, as well as storm Korath’s ship to rescue Quill, Gamora and the mysterious CryptoCube that holds the Cosmic Seed.

Guardians was on one of the movie channels the other day so i left it on as History Channel 2 was running an Ancient Aliens block and i hate that show. i like Guardians, i like that it kinda throws back to the old 80's space movies, i like the motley crew, i like the sentimental tone, i like the whole cast choices (except for michael rooker. dogs are more talented than him. those Air Bud dogs act better than him.)
but i have two gripes that puzzle me why the powers in charge decided these two things were good choices.
1) Drax. at no point did i really believe he was as strong and powerful as they were trying to make him come off as. during his fight with Ronan on Knowhere, it would have been nice to see Drax completely trounce Ronan. but then to show how evil and unfair Ronan is, he pull some douche bag move dirty fighting move to finally take Drax down. i don't have an example, but i think we can all imagine something different. this way it would show us without question how powerful Drax is and just how sinister Ronan is.
2) Zoe Saldana, IMO, is beyond gorgeous. at the same time, Gamora, in the comics is a beautiful character design. ignoring Saldana has a distinctly opposite body type as Gamora's character, i found it odd they went with the character design they did. like they went out of their way to make Gamora ugly and un-Saldana. "i know, lets shave her eyebrows and put weird scars on her face!" "great idea, no one likes beautiful women, everyone will get behind this!" maybe they were trying to move away from the cliche sexy green alien girl of Star Trek. stupid choice i say.
unfortunately, neither of these things can be fixed by any of the many talents who participate on this site.

I know trailers for CGI films are always gonna be a work in progress but there are limits.
