What is it with Robocop and fried chicken?

Definitely one of the more bizarre advertising campaigns.... but they do make me laugh. :D

Love his little laugh as he sprints off with the swag. This is my dream.

Moon (2009) music!

I'd be interesting to see a re-score of any of the Alien films with Clint Mansell music.

This seemed like it would be obnoxious after a minute or two, but I laughed through the entire video. I love when they make themselves laugh

So modern mainstream country sucks just as much as other genres operating under the modern mainstream umbrella. No surprise there.

I watched that video a while back, and I agree with it overall, although my opinion is that the majority of country music hasn't sounded authentically country for decades. The "snaps" are just the final nail in the coffin. In fact, as @"Duragizer" pointed out, there's very little good mainstream music in general these days. Most of the best music being made today is from more obscure artists. I discovered a lot of my favorite modern musicians through Bandcamp.com (a website where independent musicians sell their music, with 85-90% of the money going directly to the artist and most tracks available to preview in their entirety for free).

Here are a few examples of what are (IMO) good recent country songs:

https://millwinders.bandcamp.com/track/in-time-she-will

https://galholiday.bandcamp.com/track/louisiana-waltz

https://millwinders.bandcamp.com/track/the-one-who-loves-me

https://deloreansisters.bandcamp.com/track/flo

https://millwinders.bandcamp.com/track/too-late

https://olboots.bandcamp.com/track/whisk-all-the-drinky-2

(To be fair, I'd place that last song a bit more in the comedy genre than country; it's a sort of Spike Jones-style spoof.)

Good Lord, 552?

It takes a certain kind of person to make the same one joke every day for two years (intentionally, willingly, etc).

Is he ok? That's not you, is it?
