AC3 -> Wav (or anything for that matter) issues

well thats good to know throw, i always figured VLC just couldnt play lagarith.

There should be no problems playing a lagarith AVI in VLC or MPC if the color space is set to RGB

incidentily whats best? most stuff ive see is in YUY or YUY2 format is there any advantage to using these over RGB?

This, I honestly do not know. I think one of those is supposed to be best, but I dont know what the advantage it has over RGB. All I know is I had issues with playback and Vegas reading the files if they weren't in RGB. I would be curious to know myself.

I double checked and did another conversion making sure everything was set as RGB. Didn't work. What I can't figure out why it worked BEFORE and not now.

***UPDATE***

Figured it out. I had to put the LAGARITH.DLL file in the applications folder, in this case Premiere Pro CS5.
