All this post is missing is an "in no particular order" disclaimer.

But that's the correct order.

Although I would consider dropping Eight Heads to #9.  Let's not get nuts here.

I understand it took me 20 minutes just to rank mine.

I'm too old for rankings.  ;)

Reminds me of that line from Ex Machina. I like rankings but would have to think on this one. I was recently asked my top 10 SImpsons episodes though. (Nit the actual titles and in no particular order)

Hank Scorpio
Canyonero
Lisa the Skeptic
Monorail
Be Sharps
Homer in Space
Frank Grimes
Guatemalan Insanity Pepper
Kamp Krusty
Homer gets fat
The Leader
The Stonecutters

Plus the Kang vs Kodos election short from Treehouse of Terror.

Oh and I couldn’t do just 10.  :p

Almost 50 years of movie watching, I doubt the following list is accurate...lol  I am sure the rankings would change daily based on my mood, plus I am certain i am forgetting some beloved popcorn cinematic masterpiece due to faulty old fart memory....

But what the heck, let's give it a try....

ABSOLUTE TOP 10 FAVES:
Kill Bill Vol. One
Star Trek III The Search for Spock (all original cast films!!!!)
The Natural
Buckaroo Banzai
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
The Thief of Bagbad (1940)
Field of Dreams
Planet of the Apes (1968) (the entire franchise!!!)
Rear Window
Young Frankenstein

TOP 10 HONOURABLE MENTIONS: (yeah, I know this is probably cheating  :p)
Rocky (all of them, yeah, even the street fight one lol)
Hunt for Red October
Casablanca
Superman the Movie
Love Actually
The Abyss
The Sting
Psycho
The Untouchables
Dirty Harry

holy crap, 20 movies and not a single Star Wars flick made the list?!?  :p

Is that including Rocky Balboa and Creed or just the original 5

I love rocky 5 more than rocky 3 even though people absolutely hate Rocky 5 and love Rocky 3 I know it sounds like I hate Rocky 3 but no I love it but rocky 5 is better than rocky 3 for being like an actual rocky movie if you know what i mean rocky 3 is though one of the most enjoyable rocky films.
And on that case....

Here are my favourite Rocky films rated worst to best story wise not including creed.

6.Rocky 4
5.Rocky 3
4:Rocky 5
3:Rocky 2
2:Rocky Balboa
And of course
1:Rocky

Now here are my favourite Rocky rated for enjoyment purposes not story also not including creed.

6:Rocky 5
5:Rocky 2
4:Rocky Balboa
3:Rocky
2:Rocky 3
1:Rocky 4
Its basically just an 80s music pop video but a very enjoyable one which I can watch over and over again without getting bored.

Huh, my list has changed from six years ago...

1. Terminator 2 (extended edition)
2. The Mummy ('99) and The Mummy: Year of the Scorpion (fan edit)
3. Muppet Treasure Island
4. Hot Rod
5. The Mask of Zorro
6. Valkyrie
7. Tie: Back to the Future / BttF Part II
9. Star Trek Generations
10. Nixon (Director's Cut)

Runners-Up (tied for 11th): Pride and Prejudice ('05) and Jane Eyre ('11)
Honorable Mention: the MCU films- all of them (plus Agents of SHIELD)

Analysis: Adaptation. and Notorious got zapped - I've since rewatched both, and neither thrilled me as much as they once did. I still love Mission: Impossible II, but I love Valkyrie more. Hot Rod took its well-deserved place in my top five, and the first two BttFs fell a bit. I still love my non-approved Weird Science fan edit, but wouldn't call it one of my very favorites. T2, The Mummy (and Year of the Scorpion), The Mask of Zorro, Nixon and Muppet Treasure Island all held strong, with Treasure Island moving up.

Though I prefer the company of women to men in life, I admit my list is very male-heavy. Heck, Muppet Treasure Island and Valkyrie almost don't feature women at all, and of the top ten, only T2 and The Mummy can be said to feature women as even co-leads, though they at least take the top two spots. A big part of this is no doubt lingering affection for childhood favorites, but maybe I also prefer screen men to the real thing?  :p

Star Trek 3...Star Trek Generations...

What thread am I even in?
