It doesn’t matter if I’m going to edit an YTP or not, I can edit without editing like YTP.

YTP - Youtube Poop, it's an artform that originated as shortform content on youtube. Basically taking footage from games, shows, and movies and remixing it for comedic value. Typically such videos are full of jarring cuts, not meant to be viewed with much scrutiny, but there are plenty of outliers that go above and beyond with their editing. I'm a big fan of The Frollo Show, a series that starts out incnherent but goes on to tell a terribly compelling story with amazing editing at times.
TV's Frink's The Ridiculous Menace very much plays out like a long YTP, so there's absolutely a precedent for such content here.

I think this is the ur-example, circa 1942, not really an example of fanediting though as it's doubtful that the editor was a fan of the source!

As far as the quality standards on the movie, I’m intentionally making it look like a cheesy VHS tape. It’s gonna have the same look as this video I did.
