Viewing "Colour" films in Black and White

I can confirm that King Kong (2005) looks stunning in black and white and the effect actually enhances the special effects shots and fits really well given its setting.

Next time i watch TMBTM King Kong edit i'll view it in B&W  :) if you haven't seen it ...i recommend you do

I've not, I'll go check out the cut list now. It's a really solid film, one which I didn't fully appreciate when it first came out. However, on my rewatch I could not stand the slow mo shaking cam shots which were both jarring and o early used. Fingers crossed TMBTM did something about those.

Just to be clear - the edit is not available in B&W but maybe i'll get permission from the man himself and run it through Vegas and apply the black and white filter...also its only available on DVD. I am trying to remember the cut list of the tOp of my head but i know the intention was to streamline the film's bloat by bringing it in line with previous incarnation of Kong movies.

I've been wanting to watch Sunshine (2007) for a while now in B&W mainly for the reason whenever I try to watch it I start getting anxiety from its saturated visuals so perhaps watching desaturated may help.

Kill Bill V1 would make sense in B&W and it also would be nice to add some shaw brothers look and feel. At least we would not chase for the Japanese unrated version endlessly :)
