True Lies: Straight Faced Edition

looks a bit heavy on the sharpening. There is noticeable noise and EE effects now. Not sure if I like that over the softer image on elbarto's DVD
 
Yeah I tried not to over sharpen.

I used VLC for the screen caps.
I'm not sure why, but MPC shows less noise as well on playback.

The that little bit of noise/arifacting isn't nearly as noticeable when actually watching it in motion and barely noticeable at all if viewing on a TV.

But I did want to show an action shot to show that the encode didn't come out blocky.

Of course, bit rate comes into play as well.
I'm sure a 7000 kbps DVD encode can be sharpened similarly without noise/artifacts.
