For everyone familiar with the Shadow of the Empire story for Star Wars, a full length fan film was made using action figures and some CG. Shadows of the Empire was Lucasfilm/LucasArts first really big project after all of the movies. Shadows incorporated a video game for N64, a novel, and a comic series among other things including of course action figures.
Anyway, this fan film was pretty cool. It is in portugese, and is subbed in English. Heres what they say about the film:
The first animation feature fan film of the world. With 110 minutes, 89 action figures used, 12 real scenarios and 15 virtual 3D animation scenarios, you never watched something like that before. Done with action figures, scenarios, models and many special effects.
Based on Steve Perry novel, SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE tell us what happened between THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RETURN OF THE JEDI.
Luke Skywalker and the Princess Leia, with Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, Wedge, Rogue Squadron, and a shining pilot called Dash Rendar, try to rescue Han Solo of the Boba Fett's hands.
A new villain, Prince Xizor, try to take the Vader's place together to the Emperor.

O alvo de Xizor ? o jovem Skywalker. Assim Luke se v? procurado pelos dois seres mais perversos da gal?xia, sendo que um o quer vivo e o outro o quer..... morto.
