serious problem- whole video track 'red' in timeline

in vegas all my video appears as the color red in the timeline and shows nothing (black) in the preview window.
I frameserved out last night and all was fine, today big problems.
any ideas? I am really concerned.

ok got it - FFS that was scary. I installed vidomi to convert to avi and that must have 'queered the deal' so to speak. I had to system restore to fix it but its fixed.
I was sooooo angry and soooooo scared. wooo, now I am sooooo relieved.
