Couple of questions. In scene selection menus with motion thumbnails, do I need to match the length of the audio clips with the length of the motion thumbnail?

And is it possible in DVDlab to have audio playing in a long loop, that is uninterrupted when you switch between the scene selection menus?

no it dont have to be the same length...im not sure if its possible not to be uninterrupted when you switch between the scene selection menus.

So will the song cut off when the vid loops, or will they loop independently?

the song will always cut off, when you click a button. A new song will start with the next menu. From my knowledge there is no way to avoid that.

Is it possible to change the color of the fonts in dvdlab? How might one do such a thing?

to change the color of a font, use the button on the right sidebar.
to change the color of a link, switch to the link color on the right sidebar (it is that red to green square, 4th in the row) and change the link color for selected and activated.

Geez, if that button was a snake, it would have bitten me. Thanks!

I believe the audio loop always ends when the video loop ends, but here's what you can do to get around it. (although it has a larger file size)

Take your intended video loop and just manually loop it in on itself a few times until it's as long as the audio clip. Copy/paste is still the most useful command in all of computers.
