Is there a way to rip the audio commentary tracks off DVDs? Say if I wanted to listen to the Phantom Editor's audio commentary for The Phantom Edit but i didn't want to watch the movie while listening. Basially so i could rip the audio commentary track and convert it to mp3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Of course, that's easy to do and there are lots of different programs to use. One of them is separating the audio with DGIndex (which will give you also a d2v reference file for the video; just ignore or delete it), then use BeSweet to convert the audio from whatever (ac3, PCM, wav...) to mp3.

I don't know the point of listening to an audio commentary without watching the images every thing being discussed refers to, but to each their own...

I never claimed to be "normal"

Thanks for the suggestion.
