I was not sure where to put this. I know how to do it, but my question is what do the vast amount of you think about it? In my latest work in progress (red dead dawn), I have one scene in the very beginning of some army soliders parachuting down into a neighborhood. The scene is only like 5 seconds long. I forgot to remove this later in the film of when it actually takes place, but it still works well even though it appears tiwce. It just makes it seem as if more troopers are on the way. Should I just keep it in?

Hmm. I'd say if it's not a problem, i'd remove it. However, if you must repeat the clip though (and i do sometimes with footage that doesn't look quite "suspicious") i take, say from a 15 second clip, the middle 5 seconds from it and use that so it doesn't start in the same spot and i also reverse the horizontal view of the footage. But if it's a 5 second clip you're working with, i'm not sure there's much that can be done to make it look like different footage. It's up to you, but i'd probably try to disguise it a little. Good luck! :)
