hey guys, anyone who uses premiere can help me? I've reinstalled my OS and all the software that was on the pc previously to the reinstall, but for some reasons adobe premiere isn't importing avi files properly anymore - the audio is working, but the video is strangely messed up, the video however is just the 4 minutes of the movie stretched over the entire 1,5 hours clip

this just happens with avi, mov files, with dv files from my camcorder it works perfectly in sync and there are no issues

anyone know how to fix this problem?

Do you have the correct codecs installed? It sounds like that may be the problem. I would install the full k-lite codec pack if you haven't already.

already installed the k-lite package, first thing i did

Maybe they aren't using codecs from that pac? Try GSpot, and see what codecs the files are using to verify you have them.
