I'm working on a couple of projects right now that will include both widescreen and fullscreen video but I don't want to use TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 because it doesn't allow you create empty menus so I plan on using DVD-Lab Pro 2. The only problem with that is that DVD-Lab Pro doesn't allow you to include videos with varying aspect ratios on the same VTS track. I've been using DVD-Lab Pro for a good while now to author bootleg concerts and I've tried adding a second VTS track but when it comes to linking to the file(s) on that track from the main menu, which is on the VTS 1 track, it acts as though no second VTS track exists. How can I add a second, or more, VTS track and be able to link to the files on them from the main menu?

I believe you can link to a secondary VTS via a bridge. You link the menu button to the bridge, then the bridge to the VTS in question.

And how do I do that? I just opened DVD-Lab Pro and created a basic main menu and added a second VTS track. I left-clicked on the text and I don't see the option to bridge. I just checked the Help file and all it does is tell you what a bridge is in this regard but not what you need to do to bridge something.

Bring up your Floating Connections display, right click on a blank area and choose Add --> Bridge.

Okay so I've got the bridge added but it still won't let me link to the movie on the second VTS track from the menu, even when I put connections from the bridge to the second VTS track. All it does is allow me to link to the bridge on the menu. Is there something else I need to do?

No, that's it. You connect to the bridge on the menu, and connect the bridge to your VTS via the Floating Connections.

That will play fine.

So all I have to do is add the Bridge, connect the bridge to the second VTS track on the floating connections and then on the menu instead of linking to a Movie I simply link to the Bridge? And it'll play fine? What if there's more than one movie file on the second VTS? Do I have to create a new bridge for each movie file if it's on the same VTS?
