Hello, just a little trick on Premiere Pro.

Several people asked me back then how could we cut several audio/video tracks at once in Premiere Pro.
The question seems a bit silly for an advanced program like Premiere Pro, but it's not that obvious.
The thing is I struggled a bit to find it myself...
I always thought that the key would be to "associate" several tracks and then cut them, but that never worked because it's just an option to move the tracks, you can't cut them (beware, I'm using a french version and so I'm translating in english, the word "associate" might not be exactely that...)

You need to "link" the tracks.

You simply highlight several track, then right click, then "link" (not "associate"), THEN you can cut all the tracks at once.

Personally I never bother too much with this option because I more or less always play a lot with the 6 channels for my audio transitions. But for simple basic transitions, or for a quick work to check your edit before going deeper in the transtions work, it is very helpful.

The cutting multiple tracks at once I figured out pretty quick. It's the changing multiple fades at once, like I could do in Final Cut Pro, that annoyed me. Just sayin'... :p

Yeah... no way around this for now. I'm afraid.

Agree, this is annoying... applying 6 individual fades across the surround mix repeadedly gets pretty tiresome across a whole edit
