Casino Royale - Straight Flush Edition

Now, on that we can agree! Such a spot-on yet underrated portrayal, which deserved to be in better movies (The Living Daylights played like a Moore reject and License to Kill looked in parts like a Schwarzenegger movie). I'm surprised no one has tackled either one. Maybe I will, one of these centuries. Don't worry, I won't cut out all of the action. :)
Uh... License To Kill: Alternate Cut :)

I'd just like to point out that, in light of the very minor Skyfall spoiler that

the next movie's story will have very little/nothing to do with CS/QoS,
my "Fury and Solace" short, featured on this edit, becomes even more relevant to fans of Casino Royale let down by QoS. :)

I have re-uploaded this edit and submitted the DLC, so it should be back up on .info soon :)

I absolutely loved this edit. Can't even fathom why it didn't become a fanedit of the month or something. The Fury and Solace epilogue was a nice touch, but as Bond doesn't go on an unauthorised rampage in that version, pocketing the photo seemed off.

Ah, thanks. Also, I'm kinda surprised that many people complained on cutting the parkour scene. Sure, the chase inside the building was nothing short of amazing, but the bulldozer and crane stunts were just ridiculous. So, personally I'm glad to see it gone although Bond gets bloody scrapes on his hand for no reason now (visible when he clings to the truck, but it's a completely minor thing).

I was hoping for a little bit of it (I mean, it's James Bond!) But it's all gone :-( I guess that's what keeps this edit from being perfect imo, sure, the action sequences needed some trimming, but a 007 movie needs a little bit more action than in this edit.

They are so good comments I would like to someday be able to download the film, on another server other than megaupload, we know the reason why. Thanks

Well lucky for you it's on Mediafire.

Thanks Frinks, but I can't see the download link. Sorry it's my second post

fanedit.info

I just checked, the dlc is there for mediafire.

Well, I did re-upload it to MediaFire...

Seems pretty obvious to me.

lol at "Frinks"

Now there are two of them?

Seems to be gone from MF, along with QoS too :(
Didn't get to watch either of them - looking forward to seeing them one day

I second that -- looks amazing, esp. after the colossal disappointment of Royale. The book was so perfect, such a better ending, I was hoping for the moon in theatrical Casino Royale.

PM'ing Kerr now for a chance at this labour of love.

DVD5 for this edit has been reuploaded to MEGA. DLC submitted to Info.
