Britain's General Election

i think the general consensus is... meh. after the Blair era i think people are waiting to see how things begin playing out before they start waving banners about this time.

I agree. But I think the Coalition Government that has been formed is the best outcome considering the result of the Election. I think with a Hung Parliament the country basically said "We don't want any of you to run the country", but that's obviously not sustainable :lol: someone has to run the country whether we like it or not.

So considering the choice between an unstable minority Conservative Government or an even more unstable minority coalition Lib-Lab Government, an unstable majourity Lib-Con Government is the lesser of the evils.

But nOmArch is right, after the Blair years the country is in no mood to cheer & wave banners.
 
Lib-Con is definitely the lessor of three evils.
