Aliens: The Cocoon Cut:
Bobson Dugnutt strikes again.
I have a sense of deja vu reviewing an Aliens Fanedit. A not long time ago I reviewed Bobsons Aliens: No Hope Edition. Which was already a marvellous companion to an exceptional movie.
This time around we have something no other edition has... The famous 10 sec of extra seconds. Watching now Burke cocoon scene without going through the DVD extras makes me realize, maybe that was a good idea not to include it in the theatrical and directors cut release. But it does satisfy us, Aliens, fans with something new and fresh.
I have no comments on the technical aspect of the edit. Bobson never disappoints and his edits are always well put together.
It's no secret I am a big Alien quadrilogy fan and I would like to express my gratitude to Bobson and other dedicated fan editors to keep the spirit of the original Alien movies alive.
CERTIFIED ROTTEN FRESH FAN EDIT :)
