I just realized tonight that AIFF supports ID3 tagging for metadata unlike its evil popular twin Wav. I wonder why wav became some predominant?

wav has pictures of aiff in compromising positions with flac.

Bbbbb......bbbbb...bahahahahahahahahhahaha!

Good question though. Probably the same reason that Betamax failed. Dumb luck.

Lol. Nice one Frink. Must be... AIFF is a dirty little whore. And she even has a place to store her dirty little pictures.

The photos are very, VERY risqué.

Because wav is more pc based while aiff is more native to the mac. It is a PC world and wav took over-- Though most of every pc app for music I have ever seen will import or save in that format. In some cases you can just rename one to the other and it wil lwork for whatever just fine
