Does anyone know what the best available version of The Thing (1982) soundtrack is currently? It is my understanding that a few versions have been released over the years, some complete, some incomplete. Some include Carpenter's contributions, some don't. Ennio Morricone's complete score was not used for the film, but I believe at least one edition makes these missing pieces available. I'd appreciate any advice.
