I think it would be interesting to know, what internet capacities each of you have, so it is easier to understand, why some things work so fast and others take so much time. It might also be useful, if we need help seeding. Good connections should not be wasted.

I will list them all in the first post.

1. nexphr3ak0r__u: 1000kB/sec d: 1500kB/sec
2. mrazzido_____u: 125kB/sec d: 2000kB/sec
3. boon23______ u: 80-85kB/sec d: 1500-1600kB/sec
4. Calisto_______u: 45-55kB/sec d: 1000kB/sec

i have no idea what my internet connection is supposed to be but for real life experience my upload is 1 megabyte (note that says byte not bit) per second and download averages about 1.5 megabytes per second.

sorry but you need to fix your letters boon my connection would be 1000kB/s and 1500kB/s. The capital B denotes bytes instead of bits or you can use this my connection would be 8 mb/s upload and 12 mb/s download the lower case denotes bit. I calculated by their being 8 bits in a byte.

oh, ok, I never thought about using a capital B. But I am sure you are right there. Corrected.

this is a great speed, mrazzido. Where are you from?

Germany rules ;-)
what region is that? And what provider?

I'm not not that fast, but I have endurance. What are we talking about again?

Stupid question time - how does one check?

I have no idea what the numbers mean, but the free test (thx lewis) said
1838.7 kbps.

According to the link calisto provided I've got this.

This is for my connection at work, i'll post my home connection speed later
