XBOX 720 to ban use of used games

I guess they learned after the Windows 8 fiasco that maybe they should listen to their customers.

They've still lost a lot of buyers. It's an extra hundred dollars for a system that pissed off a whole lot of people.

OMFG, that is too funny! I had recorded some E3 vlogs where I discussed the DRM and check-in policies:

Looks like I'll have to record another one now!

I'm still not getting an Xbox One, though.

When the public preview came out people blasted the Metro design (full screen tile) and that when the computer booted up it dropped a person right there, completely unfamiliar territory rather than the desktop. Take out the Start button and it was a full-on riot. Even after the uproar MS basically said, "We know what's best for you, so shut up and follow our lead." Well, that didn't go over well and the adoption rate of Windows 8 suffered. Only now, with a free upgrade to Windows 8.1 later this year, are they starting to make changes to appease their customers.

It should be noted that I was not one of the haters of Metro. I see the benefit for their phone, tablet and even touch screen laptops, but on my home PC with a 23" monitor Metro was just wasted real estate.

It's passable on a touchscreen laptop, but very annoying on a laptop.
