Aside from the usual suspects: Star Wars, Aliens franchise, Harry Potter, LOTR, what movies have a lot of deleted scenes to play with in fanediting?
I know Wild At Heart for example has a whole hour of deleted scenes, although of poor quality.
What other examples you can think of?

There’s a whole ‘nother movie’s worth of footage from Spinal Tap.

It's very hush, hush but word is, there's a whole other cut of 'Justice League' with 14-hours of deleted footage.

There's so many deleted scenes (the whole main plot line was changed) in Anchorman that they made a whole second cut of the movie. You can watch it and then realize that they made the right decision.

Well. From first hand experience  I know the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie has a whole extra movie worth of deleted stuff, though it's not properly animated.
There's Anchorman as well, I only know that because of this site.
I swear I heard that...I forget if it was one of the Exorcist movies, or one of the Paranormal Activity movies, but I heard that one of them was constructed entirely out of deleted stuff, though I don't know the whole deal.
I think your best bet is to look at comedies, I believe those usually have plenty deleted.

Within a franchise you can repurpose deleted scenes from one movie into another, multiplying the available extras.
Marvel has a consistent "universe" across the entire franchise, so that really adds up. Daniel Craig's James Bond is another franchise that comes to mind.

Now You See Me has at least 30 minutes of deleted Martial. And that's not even counting the stuff in the extended cut.

The Incredible Hulk has about 40 minutes of deleted stuff that got put back into Tomahawk's EE, which is crazy that they had that amount cut. Iron Man had 28 and IM 2 had 26. Superman: The Movie recently had the TV Cut officially released which is 3hr 8min, a full 45 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. Superman IV had a similar amount of deleted scenes apparently, with not all of it being released (#ReleaseTheLesterCut). Borat has far too many deleted scenes to count that also haven't been released like a porno shoot. The 24 minutes on the DVD apparently barely scrap the surface. Scott Pilgram has 28, 21 Jump Street has 29, and Hot Fuzz has 20. A lot of comedies have a lot of deleted material.

Oh and the whole Justice League debacle. But apparently there is an extended cut coming out in less than a week.

There's a few, but I don't really know what counts as a lot.

Would it be worth having this thread regularly updated with a list of films/releases that feature vast quantities of deleted material? I'm thinking something in the vein of the "clean centre channel" thread. Could make a handy reference point and would save peeps scrolling through a myriad of posts in the future.

While ultimately up to the OP, I'll just mention that this kind of information (unlike the clean center channel info) is freely available on the internet.

Mrs doubtfire has 32 minutes of deleted/extended scenes

I just watched Jacob's Ladder, and after reading the Wikipedia page, I found out that 20 minutes were cut. I know that the DVD includes some deleted scenes, but I don't own the DVD so I don't know if it has all of them. Regardless, I would love to see an extended version of it.

I agree with @"wilhelm scream" it's definitely worth giving it a go I was planning on doing it but I couldn't really be bothered to rip the bluray and the deleted scenes I'd say if you want to do an edit where you add deleted scenes you should definitely give it a go.

I've been meaning to hunt down that edit, but were there more TIH deleted scenes included on the Phase One box set like most of the other films? Were these incorporated into Tomahawk's EE, or are they even worth incorporating if they exist?

The show Legion has about 25 minutes of deleted scenes. They're mostly pretty good, too. Some are unfinished.
