• Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.
  • If this is your first time here please read our FAQ and Rules pages. They have some useful information that will get us all off on the right foot, especially our Own the Source rule. If you do not understand any of these rules send a private message to one of our staff for further details.

Some fan-based projects do not seek to create new, untold or modified versions of a film or show. Custom/Special Editions are edits which don't fall into the above definitions of projects in which faneditors infuse personal creative choices to modify the viewing experience, yet are not anything which you can purchase commercially.

Examples of what constitutes a Special Edition:

- Music replacement without changing the narrative of the film
- Double/Triple features that don't involve editing more than splicing together the films
- Deleting only 1 scene or adding only 1 scene
- Color Correction without cutting anything out'
- Video game fanedits

All the normal rules apply in regards to owning the source material. ABSOLUTELY NO BOOTLEGGED MATERIAL ALLOWED. This includes non-commerically available workprints.
