What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.

teknomedic, if you want the highest quality possible then go for the DVD9. I've reupped it on rapidshare and the new DLC is online already!

Thank you a ton Zaaacharias for putting that back up. :)

I LOVE this edit. It has won over a few haters of the original version.

Hey guys, if anyone is still out there. I can't get either of the passwords to work for the archives on this one. Any suggestions?

Guilty as charged, and apology extended to any I may have antagonized or upset.
Furthermore, it was crass of me to address DisNerd in open forum, rather than a PM.
Quid pro quo.

I just wanted to thank you guys so much for posting this online. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Waterworld by any means, but I do have some fond memories of it (from many years ago) and couldn't bear to look at my (Shredited for TV) DVD version again. This is a real treat to be able to view it again as I remembered it.

So thanks so much for the posting this and the instructions on how to obtain it. The h.264 is perfect for my needs and I'm thrilled to have it.

:)

You know that information would of been useful in your first post...

As this site isn't connected to .info nobody here will be able to tell you when the site will be back up.

Only thing you can really do is wait a bit and it another try in a few days time.

If you read the rules in full you'll read these lines:

It is acceptable to send a private message to a member of fanedit.org asking for links to downloadable fanedits. Members of fanedit.org can do what they want via private messages as fanedit.org is unable to control or monitor private messages. What is said in private messages is the responsibility of the member sending the private message, not the responsibility of fanedit.org.

If you are having difficulty locating an edit for download after checking the resources mentioned in Part II, there is a section of the forum dedicated to trading fanedits. Go HERE.

So I suggest you either send a PM to Zaaacharias or request it in the Trades forum.

Please read the rules again. Specifically, this:

6. Discussing The Availability of Fanedits. NEVER post a link in the forums to any website where you can download fanedits. And when saying where something has been uploaded, DO NOT use full URLs. Generic names are acceptable (rapidshare, mediafire, info, etc.) but please DO NOT get into discussions of download sites.

Intention for this fanedit: I was so pissed off when I found out that the Extended Edition which I believed to be the "Ultimate Edition" of Waterworld was a censored, softened edit for TV. Universal wasn't able to release a proper version on DVD so I thought I had to do it on my own.

Your way to achieve your intention: A "never give up attitude" and a lot of support from Cédric.

Hardware and software information:
Adobe Premiere CS4
Adobe After Effects CS4
Adobe Encore CS4
Adobe Photoshop CS4
Magic Bullet Looks
Subtitle Workshop
Submagic
TMPGEnc 4.0 Express
DVDShrink
MKVToolnix

Additional Comment: Enjoy this "Ultimate Edition" of Waterworld!

Time needed for the edition: Way too long!

Persons involved:
Zaaacharias
Cedricman

I see this got a home video release(?!), but the runtime is shorter. I guess the 'revised edition' makes the difference?
I don't see links on fanedit.info as stated above. Is there still a release somewhere?
