That's funny because in the original version the final boss is one of the easiest. Maybe it's some sort of over correction for that? I really need to look more into Dracula X because it seems like such a mess and I'm so curious about what happened.
 
Been playing a range of old to really old RPG and RPG-adjacent titles the past few months. Dragon Age: Origins, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, Final Fantasy 3 PSP version, and currently working through Mass Effect 2. All good stuff, though obviously the older titles involve more grinding and much more minimal story.
