One of my favorite things is to listen to music and see if I can concoct a situation that juxtaposes the music. A few examples where this was done exceptionally well:
Johnny Mathis' "Wonderful! Wonderful!" in The X-Files (X-Files clip not available online)
Roy Orbison's "In Dreams" in Blue Velvet
"Goodbye Horses" by Q Lazzarus in Silence of the Lambs
I'm curious what other songs are out there that may not have been intended to be creepy but, for whatever reason, are? A couple I don't think have been used in movies or tv:
Skeeter Davis' "The End of the World"
Judy Collins' "Both Sides Now"
Monkees' "Porpoise Song"
