I became more and more interested in time travel movies since working on Twelve Monkeys. I was very curious this morning when I saw ArsTechnica publish a piece on the matter. ArsTechnica is a publication devoted to technology, so of course they analyze those movies with that angle. Even though I don't always agree with what the author Jennnifer Ouellette, reports, it is nonetheless an interesting list of time travel movies, scrutinized by a (somewhat?) analytic eye. And of course she talks about the classics as well as lesser known movies.
I'm curious to know what are your thoughts on time travel movies.
Do you enjoy them more when they are as scientifically plausible as possible? Or do you just need another BTTF type of fun flick?
