After your Ultron edit, I couldn't be more excited for this one. Really looking forward to contributing if I can; I want to be more active here, and even create some edits.

I think this Ultron and Justice League edits are by far his most comprehensive and his best work to date.

If you'd like to contribute, I've got what could be a final cut ready with the last of the effects shots being completed by TM2YC. I've made some minor changes in scenes and fixed some minor things leftover from the theatrical cut. Honestly this thing is bordering on being a FanFix instead of a Mix.

Justice League is the most complex of these extended editons I've made, with this Thor edit, Ultron and maybe ROTS being close behind. SM3: The Enemy Within and Falling Into Darkness are comprehensive in opposite directions to these, and were some of my favourite to work on.

Anywho, here is an updated list of stuff that's been changed. Hopefully it makes sense.

- regraded film lightly to get rid of green tint
- added burnt in subtitles for the Dark Elves, almost every line has been rewritten (from the Hard Forged Edition)
- moved Jane's introduction to right after Loki in chains
- added extended version of Jane's date
- moved Dark Elves waking up to after Selvig on TV
- moved Jane, Darcy and Intern Ian to after this
- moved the Elves on Svartalfheim to after this, as well as Algrim getting the Kurse stone
- added extended version of the Vanahiem sequence, after Malekith says Asgardians will pay, implying they are behind the attack
- added shot of the Asgardians traveling via Bifrost from Thor 1
- moved Volstagg and Fandrel escorting Algrim and other prisoners to immediatly after the battle, instead of an hour into the movie
- added Loki's fantasy after this, cutting the brief few establishing shots of the basement prison
- added Thor talking to Frigga about Loki after she talks to him via magic Skype
- added extended Celebration scene as they rejoice over their victory
- moved Thor talking to Heimdel about Jane to after the celebration
- added Jane disrupting some scholars in the Hall of Science
- moved Selvig doing his explanation of the Convergence after Odin has
- added Jane waking up in Asgard and exploring
- cut a few frames of Thor's mouth moving while he isn't saying anything (from the Hard Forged Edition)
- added alternate death scene for Frigga, Odin is now present the entire time
- moved the Dark Elves above Asgard to later
- added Jane and Thor talking in the Hall of Science as she is taken into custody
- moved some lines around while Thor and Heimdel talk, so as Thor says Malekith returns, it cuts to...
- moved Malekith and the Dark Elves above Asgard to here, so that Thor is proven correct (from the Hard Forged Edition)
- added Thor fighting the Einherjar while they rescue Jane
- Loki's skin fades to blue as he dies, while his eyes fade to red (from the Hard Forged Edition)
- moved Loki's return, used as an after-credits scene
- flipped Hogun in Vanaheim so he's correctly looking at the Jets, cut a few frames of his eyes darting randomly
- added alternate ending of Jane telling Thor he will be king, and him somewhat accepting the role. It sounds better than my brief description, but they sort of breakup, which is in-line with Ragnarok
- cut the theatrical ending of Thor refusing the throne and leaving Jane on earth, to come back after the credits, as well as the Loki reveal
- cut credits shot of Loki on the throne, extended the credits to conform to music
- moved the Loki return to here, cut the mention of the Aether, changed the score to something more ominous, and added a red tint to Loki's eyes as they fade out slower than the rest of the shot (from the Hard Forged Edition)

I've run over it one last time, and everything is in order ready for a release. The only thing that is missing now is a title. I kept coming back to Reforged, but it didn't seam right to make it so similar to the Hard Forged Edition, or the Iron Man 3: Reforged edit. I didn't mind calling it Convergence, but that also has been taken by Sheepish. Something like Thor: The Dark World - Converged Edition maybe? The Almighty Edition? The Worthy Edition? I'm not too sure at this point.

Also, here's some bonus stuff I put together (do people watch these?)

- Alan Taylor, Kevin Feige and Tom Hiddleston Commentary on Deleted Scenes (5:49)
- Alternate and Cut Trailer Shots (1:14)
- Chrisopher Eccleston and Tom Hiddleston talk Deleted Scenes (2:33)
- Feature Commentary Clips on Deleted Scenes (2:45)
- Unused and Unfinished Deleted Scenes (4.02)

"The Worthy Edition" sounds pretty good, and "Converged Edition" makes a lot of sense, because you're "converging" different pieces of material together to create an extended cut.

Will you be releasing a high-bitrate version (something at or near Blu-ray quality)?

Also, how good were you able to get the Movies Anywhere-exclusive deleted scenes to look? I recently discovered a way that you might be able to capture those scenes from Movies Anywhere in better quality than the method you used. You can PM me for more details if you want instructions on how to do it.

I wouldn't mind doing a proper BD-25 for this, including the bonus features as it's been something I wanted to do since my AOU edit, but I've never figured out how to do it.

This is what I was able to do with the Jane scene, just trying to make it look near 1080p, even though it's not quite there yet.

I like Convergence, or something to indicate the Realms aligning. Or like The Dark Realm. They never call them worlds.

That shot looks incredible; awesome work.

I'd definitely love to help by taking a gander at the current version. Feel free to send it my way. I will say, I feel odd about Loki in chains not being the first scene (before Marvel fan-fair) since it's following the events of Avengers. I'm also just weirdly into the idea of going Cap > IM > Thor > Avengers > Thor > IM > Cap for my rewatches.. so maybe I'm just hyper fixating...

As far as the title goes, I think "Convergence" is solid. I'm not really digging "Worthy" as much; that might be a great Thor 1 title, though!

How do you feel about "Eternal Night"?
After all, it's an extended edition of a tonally darker movie whose villain came from and wants to return the universe to "eternal night."

"War of the Realms" came to mind but idk if this film is epic enough for such a title lol

Did some further work on the MoviesAnywhere scenes, making them look pretty much 1080p.

And with that, the edit is pretty much ready for a release. Final runtime is 2:02:42. Looks like it'll be up in the IFDB next week.

This was a lot more coherent and therefore enjoyable than the cinematic version. The deleted scenes all add to the narrative and have generally been well incorporated, I particularly enjoyed the way in which Loki’s coronation was used. The only issues I noticed were a lack of hard coded subtitles for the final exchange between Algrim & Malekith before abandoning their troops in the battle with the Asguardian troops during the intro. There also appeared to be a repeat in the intro music as the titles fade out.
I know you’ve done a great deal of work to make the deleted scenes with unfinished effects usable and by in large you’ve succeeded. The only exceptions would be the blue screen background replacement in the finale & at the end of the Thor/Frigga conversation. There also seems to be a purple tint when Thor fights off the guards during Loki’s escape & the final scene of the guard on the ground appeared to have a darker or unfinished background that didn’t match. Not sure anything can be done with that though.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and appreciate all the work you have put in.
