The current situation for The Beatles on music streaming services is... suboptimal, to say the least.
The available versions of the 13 Studio Albums (+Past Masters for Non-Album Tracks) are either the 2009 Stereo Remasters, or the recent Giles Martin remixes. The 2009 Mono remasters are not even offered as Alternate Versions of the albums. Furthermore, albums that have been remixed by Giles Martin in recent years have the new mixes presented as the main versions of the songs, with the originals as Alternate Versions. However, there is a compilation on Apple Music called "The US albums", which includes the original albums released in the US by Capitol Records and United Artists, in both Stereo AND Mono! However, these Capitol Records albums have heavily altered tracklists from their UK counterparts. Additionally, Revolver and Sgt. Pepper have the original Mono versions included in the Deluxe box sets available on streaming.
I was able to reassemble the mono versions of the first eight albums, and assorted singles, in UK chronological order, from what is available on Apple Music. (Mostly. Three songs -- Misery, There's A Place, and I'm Down, remain in Stereo.) From Magical Mystery Tour onward, the Stereo versions are used, as those are the only ones available, and Magical Mystery Tour was the point at which the Stereo versions became the more complete mixes.
So here they are, The Beatles On Apple.
