I really couldn't stand Franco in "Spring Breakers". But to be honest with you Franco is really starting to get on my nerves. It's like I can't watch anything any more without him popping up in it. He seems to be in everything these days. They even made a joke about it in an episode of "Two And A Half Men" this season. He's turning into the Eric Roberts or Danny Trejo of the A-grade movies. And while I welcome anything with Danny Trejo, Eric Roberts is another story. :lol: And James Franco is in the Eric Roberts category for me. :lol:
 
I just noticed another error as I was adding in the titles I listed in my post yesterday. I had "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" listed under both "Info on art, but not in film" and "Unsure of certain number". There is most certainly a number listed during the end credits, but I couldn't make it out completely. All I could figure out was 4??8?. With this double remove my current total is now 3379.
 
I've just identified a bunch more numbers/movies from the 46,000 series and now only need 350 to complete it.
 
I just watched "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" a little earlier, and it was freaking hilarious. I'm looking forward to watching the Extended and Super-Sized cuts now. I was wondering if anybody with a zoom function on their blu-ray player would mind checking out the Super-Sized cut, aka the R-rated cut available on the second Blu-Ray disc, to verify the MPAA number. The number on the theatrical cut is 48709, and it appears like the same number is listed on both the Extended and Super-Sized cuts as well. I suppose it's possible that both cuts were given the same number, but since all three cuts of Watchmen, and two of the three cuts of Avatar, each received different numbers, I just want to be sure.

Also, anybody planning an extended cut of this film? Aside from the three cuts of the film there's 10 minutes worth of deleted scenes and 91 minutes worth of alternate/extended scenes. Not to mention two Line-O-Rama's, a News-O-Rama, and a Kench-O-Rama. There's also an extra called "Catfight" which Blu-Ray.com lists as "A crude exchange between the Veronica and Linda characters." and outtakes from the Sea World scene. Unfortunately the deleted and alternate/extended scenes are in SD and only have 2 channel sound.

I thought you went to see both the original release and the Super-Sized release? I may watch one of the other two cuts tomorrow, but I can tell you this right now. After watching the Theatrical Cut I watched all 6 trailers again and most of the jokes weren't even in the Theatrical Cut so they must be from the Extended or Super-Sized cuts, or possibly deleted scenes. That scene where Ron and the guys are talking to the gay guy and think he's a vampire also isn't in the movie. I don't want to check out any of the deleted or alternate/extended scenes until I've seen all three cuts though, just in case some of them weren't in the Theatrical cut. Don't want any of the jokes ruined. There is a shitload of available material though for a hybrid cut, or an extended cut. Definitely worth picking up the Blu-Ray if you haven't already.
 
I contemplated seeing theatrical Super-Sized but I blinked and oops. It's a good thing movies come out on home video.

Sorry. I've been really slacking. I haven't even updated my own lists. Still got 9 notebook pages that I need to type up and add to my own lists.
 
I have decided to stop updating the Google docs. I've got probably a couple hundred more numbers to add and counting, some corrections for numbers that have more than one title associated to them, and I've gotten numbers for the titles that didn't include the number in the credits. All thanks to www.filmratings.com who have started to include the certificate numbers in their info. It just doesn't seem worth updating two lists, the Google docs and my master list, when I think the only one still interested in this is [MENTION=9578]Neglify[/MENTION] . What I can do, however, is update this thread with any additions or corrections I make if anybody is interested. And if anybody wants a copy of my master list I'd be more than happy to rar it and upload it for them.
 
Thank you for the update, Mr. Canadian. I totally understand not wanting to continue updating the docs. Please don't stop the challenge and hopefully at least once a month (or so) update the thread with your progress.
 
The challenge lives on! In fact after discovering that filmsratings.com, a site run by the MPAA, recently started including the certificate numbers to every film they've approved since the inception of the ratings system my interest has grown even bigger. I've found numbers for films I never thought I'd get numbers for. Films like the DC Animated Universe films, Troma films, The Asylum films, etc. I've even discovered that certain alternate cuts have their own certificate numbers, despite the end credits listing the original cuts number. Anchorman 2 is one example.

Things I didn't even know would have a number, do. Things like a couple of "The Land Before Time" sing-a-long videos, the prologue to "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises", Metallica's "Live Shit, Binge & Purge" box set (WTF!?!), the IMAX version of one of the Transformers movies, an "Easyriders Video Magazine". They've even got numbers to films that haven't been released yet. And they have now surpassed 50,000.

I'm going year by year, rating by rating, to obtain every number I didn't already have. I started with 2014 and will work my way backwards. Going to wait until 2015 is over before going through that one. You can expect an update to this thread within the week.
