I bought this for my brother for christmas last year... I had never heard of it but i saw it at
Best Buy and it was pretty cheap so i got it and hoped he would like it.
he seemed to enjoy it... and i recently borrowed it from him to watch it...
it's a surprisingly good show.... it had a pretty low budget... but for what they had
to work with they did a very good job.

as it's low budget... some of the special effects are pretty sub-par... (compared with stuff
like enterprise, farscape or firefly)... and some of the acting isn't the best (mainly the guest
appearances).... but all things considered it's a really fun show.... and considering you get
all 22 episodes of the first season for only $20 or something... it's a pretty good deal....

the basic premise is that it's a future in our solar system, where people are living all over the
solar system... and the main character Dante is a bounty hunter... who goes around the solar
system with his niece, and his parter luc. he's also looking for his son who was stolen from
him by raiders years ago.

here are some links....

sounds cool.... are environments on planets shown realistic?

well..... yeah... from what you see.... for the most part you rarely see exterior stuff.... remember, it was a pretty low budget show.... most of it is inside ships, space stations, or bases on moons and planets.... which is realistic i guess.... most of what you see of the planets and/or moons are distance shots of the ships orbiting them, or the ships heading down for a landing or whatever..... low budget!! hehe

I thought it was a pretty fun romp... but then again I liked Space Precint, Space Rangers, and all those other short lived cheapie scifi series. ^_^
