Star Wars: Revisited or Despecialized?

Just like L8wtr and Flaminio described, I watch harmy's if I just wanna watch "STAR WARS". But if I want to include it with the rest of a saga then I go revisited. Nevertheless, they are both amazing accomplishments.

Until Disney releases a proper OUT restoration and puts things to right, I have a hard time willing myself to watch anything but the theatrical versions in the form of Harmy'd DeEd. Once both (or even more) versions are put on equal footing in availability and presentation, I'll be more likely to mix things up. Even then, it'd be some sort of hybrid SE I'd cook up that doesn't include much if any changes that weren't made in some official version or another through the years.

How about the other OT films?

For ESB, I actually like the official "special edition". Most of the changes are unobtrusive and add to the experience. I especially like the cloud city windows -- the interior scenes of the original are too white and claustrophobic.

For ROTJ, I like the "semi specialised" fan-edit (forgot who did this one). It basically removes the stupidest stuff from the special edition, while still leaving some of the neat stuff. Especially welcome is the return of Sebastian Shaw's force ghost rather than Hayden Christensen's.

in real life, after the awkward honeymoon:

force ghost kenobi: well, how did you get here? they let you in after killing billions?
force ghost anakin: [looks off into the distance, continues to chew ghost pizza]

The Force must be Catholic.

Either that or Force ghost heaven is easier to get into than Arizona State.

I think you're talking about Q2's Return of the Jedi, that's my go-to version at the moment, though pretty soon my own version will replace it for myself.

Although I mostly agree about Empire, I like the ADigitalMan Special Edition the most. At least until Revisited of course.

This might be taboo on the website.  But can someone maybe private message me?  I found this website over the weekend and got a hold of Batman vs Superman No Justice.  All the edits I had told myself I wouldve made :)  But the big thing I've been looking for is the despecialized trilogy.  I hate all the ridiculous added changes George made, and really want a copy of the unaltered movies.  But since Disney refuses to release once in widescreen format, I have to do what I must.  Can anyone please private message me and give me some guidance on where I can get the despecialized trilogy?  I own the blurays and original VHS set.

Ps.  I'm terrible with torrents

Not just taboo. It's blatantly against site rules. Read them before posting again to avoid breaking more. https://www.fanedit.org/rules/
