As it was discussed on most of the last page, you can get the edit by PMing him here.

My example video has been unblocked if anyone would like to see what I did with the Canto Bight B-Roll....

Before watching the Extended Edition, I thought TLJ needed the deleted scenes to REPLACE original scenes. Now, I see that fleshing out the story with these scenes improves the weaker ones even without trimming them. That surprised me! E.g. looking at the flow of the narrative, I'm okay now with keeping the Spaceballs-like ironing. The subsequent scene is now so quiet and tense that the burst of trumpets and steam is a good setup.

@"ebumms" , the transitions are excellent. Your addition of incidental music to smooth over some transitions really helps make them invisible. The included bits of casino B-Roll are seamless, and the Fathier Chase is cut better than either the theatrical OR the full deleted scene.

My only criticism of this edit is that the audio is needlessly reduced to mediocre resolution stereo. The movie AND the deleted scenes come with high bitrate 5.1 audio. Movies like Star Wars benefit so much from spectacular sound to match their visuals, it's a shame that you chose to / had to downgrade the audio. Perhaps it will be possible to make v4 with surround sound?

I'm glad you enjoyed the edit regardless of the audio. :) Working with surround gave me such a headache on my Prequel edits, and I don't have a surround system to enjoy at home, so I decided not to mess with it this time around. However! If I do get bored and want a challenge I may take you up on the suggestion. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for doing the subtitles! I'll let you know if I get the audio bitrate better.

Wow! I just watched your B-Roll. At first I was a little "ok, I can see why they cut it" because it drags on. But by the end, when you cut to Finn saying "We have covered the whole casino. Zero red plom blooms" it suddenly clicked!
It's like we have been the eyes of Finn and Rose saw on their extensive search. It makes sense and the way you incorporated the music it seems like it was always intended this way. Great job! :)

Thanks! I don't think that footage was ever intended to be in the movie. It was just a collection of extra shots they put together for us to enjoy on the bluray. I wasn't going to include it because there wasn't any audio but someone on the forum here suggested it so I did and had the same reaction you did. It feels like a search for the red plom bloom. Glad you enjoyed it!
