The second edit I've seen from Spence and it's just as impressive as the final order. Having recently rewatched AOTC it's absolutely horrendous editing, pacing and dialogue was fresh in my mind. This edit does so much to improve it it feels absolutely fresh. Anakin's unpleasant stalker tones are snipped away very nicely. What we see is more of the cocky hero from clone wars and a genuinely nice romance evolving. Cutting out obi wans meandering investigation also tightens the film up significantly. The loss of the younglings scene is very welcome and makes him a more proactive character. Keeping Jango in the shadow untill Kamino also makes him more of a professional assassin. There's a lot of scenes gone from this edit that are held up by fans but it's a much better film for it. I can't wait to see how the revenge of the sith edit looks.
