Nearing completion, my latest Trek edit attempts to re-structure the second of three scripts considered for the second pilot.

I've pulled all the act title cards from the original second pilot located on the season three blu ray, and all actually fit appropriately for Mudd's Women (!). Both episodes start in space, and end up orbiting a planet in the latter half.

I've created a new pre-titles monologue for Kirk, using parts of two speeches from separate episodes, as I felt the original was aimed too specifically at the WNMHGB mission. I also use the end of the Mudd's Women trailer music, instead of the original.

The only bit I will need to create myself is the "Tonight's episode" and "also starring Leonard Nimoy" which I hope to place over an extended shot of the red alert at Sulu's station. I'm unsure if I will place Carmel's credit here - like Lockwood's was for WNMHGB, or leave it in the closing credits.

Source material: blu ray boxsets, using original effects.
