Using a Kill Bill song in an upcoming video project. Thought this would be the best place to ask.

Anyway, the version of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," by Santa Esmerelda, in the film Kill Bill Vol. 1 has this killer intro, as evidenced in this clip:

However, the soundtrack version:

Is quite different. I have searched around, but cannot seem to find the version used in the film. If anyone knows where I can find it, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, that's okay.

Also, if anyone knows a song with a similar type of fast paced atypical percussion only intro, I would love to hear it.

This was the only version that my musically uneducated ass was aware of before seeing Kill Bill


and then I later learn that the Nina Simone version is the original!
