If anyone is interested in maintaining surround sound in edits where deleted scenes are added, Halo Upmix is an amazing sfx plugin that does a really good job separating different elements of stereo audio into their proper surround channel locations. Dialogue and other foley type sounds will be isolated into the center channel. Automatic LFE channel.

I am finishing up an edit of Shazam and was taken by surprise at how well this plugin worked. Link below.

It understands what is a mono sound within the stereo mix and puts it in the center channel at good quality. Results could probably vary depending on the material but it lets you customize the soundscape as well. It uses neural learning or whatever the buzzword is for that stuff now.
