Released this year, and clocking in at 2 hours... it needs a lot of nips/tucks...

Is there a good film in this one?

I've seen an edit or two on reddit for this

I did one myself, and knocked off an hour or two, rearranged scenes (I had the Shocker fight close the film)

I totally missed that you had done this! I'm going to check it.

Been watching it...

It's shot really well, but this film needed some serious ADR work. Am I right? It sounds like every line of dialog spoken by Spider-Man is delivered from within his mask.

Okay, I finished it... and at 1 hour, it STILL feels long.

It needs a bit more humor and a lot less brooding.

You did a fine job, of course. It's just the source material.

I just started watching and this was the very first thing I noticed.

I got bored about halfway through but picked it up to finish today. Overall pretty good production values for a fan film, but it was way too long. The amateur actors were also pretty good for a fan film, but were clearly amateurs who tended to make everything a little overdramatic (though that could have been the direction), and paired with the constant dramatic score, the whole thing felt like a soap opera. Overall this would have been a pretty good short film set between Spider-Man 3 and a hypothetical Spider-Man 4, but as a full-movie sequel it was severely lacking in substance.

It wasn't intended to be a 'sequel' to any of the movies, Raimi or Webb. It was a stand-alone film based off of two classic Spider-Man comic book stories.
