Salem's Lot - The Cinematic Cut

Update:

*Got rid of a flash frame
*Added a hissing sound to both scenes of Ricky flying through the window
*Added a quick bite sound as Ricky bites his brother in the hospital
*Cut away sooner at Barlow's jump scare appearance in the jail cell
*Synced up and overlaid the soundtrack during the scene that Straker kills Dr. Norton to intensify the horror of his death

Technically the edit is now 140 minutes (and 45 seconds), but we'll keep it listed as 141 minutes.
 
The original Salem's Lot premiered on CBS on this date, November 17, 1979....

One hope I had when working on this edit is that some viewers would consider adding it to any future repeat viewings, especially during the spooky season. Wonderful to know you consider this your go-to version.
