I'm sure there is a simple solution to this.  But for all my searching I cant find it.  The snapshot is from a clip I made in VirtualDub.  But it has this box around it.  I tried using a resize filter to no avail.   What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

add the null transform filter, and then click on clipping back on the filter screen

found this to illustrate (I recommend hitting the mute button)
