Hey guys!

I'm looking for a few alternatives to Handbrake that might be useful, especially those that can transcode 7.1 audio since Handbrake can only do up to 5.1. I work on Windows 10.

Thanks in advance!

You could give Ripbot264 a try. FastFlix is another one, though I think that is for h.265 files.

Staxrip can handle DTS, 7.1, and even HDR. Unlike Handbrake, it has an end to end 10-bit pipeline. If you use it, I would suggest selecting a VS filter for de-banding. This will give you an end result superior to Handbrake. Often times with 7.1 audio though, those two extra channels are hardly used during the movie.
