Idea: A story with Lovecraftian beasts of immense size, but they react to humans like we react to bugs (the ones considered gross or dangerous like roaches or wasps or some spiders or scorpions, not the neutral ones like flies, ants, and some other spiders). You know. Totally freaked out. Flailing, paranoid, relatable. I'm convinced it would be a hilarious thirty second thing.

Strike that.  Reverse it.

For those blissfully unaware, California is currently on fire... again.

I can't find any other mention of this online, but the chorus of Marc Anthony's "You Sang to Me" sounds a lot like the bridge of Steve Winwood's "Higher Love." Compare 2:44 here...

to 1:09 here:

Anyhow, both are good songs, though Winwood's is a classic.

You don't get cats? What a shame.

@"Moe_Syzlak" hates cats, you heard it here first!

so after a year of being at my current job and realizing that
the job was never gonna get back to what it was before covid hit.
1 of my customers on my route offered me a new job with twice the hours.
I put my 2 weeks notice in and then i began having major issues with my legs and knees
to the point i use a walker to get around and electric cart  when i get groceries.
I was told its all back related even though i feel no pain in my back ever. I have
to see another specialist and get some injections and that I'm told will help me greatly.
so i've now been out of work since august 23rd, some churches and people pitched in and paid my Sept rent.
and me and my older brother have been selling things at my parents old home trying to get my October rent
paid.
sorry for long ramble, theres a rehab center place whos either gonna help me get the injections or train me and find me a sit down job.

While scrolling through Cameo, the personalized celebrity video message site, for aimless giggles recently, I discovered that one can order a video from Vanessa Angel, the goddess who played Lisa in the 1990s Weird Science TV show, for a (relative) mere $35. Example:

Seldom have I been as tempted to send a digital $35 into the digital ether, for a purely digital result! :D

(Among a few other actors I like, Robert Picardo gives a genuine performance of a greeting, for $125. If I were graduating from med school, I would absolutely order an EMH congratulations. As I'm only about to graduate from a masters of nursing program, however, I'm not so sure. :p)
