Soderbergh is at it again, this time releasing a silent (well not really silent, he adds music that is... not what I would have expected to hear) B&W version of Raiders to help focus on the Staging of the film. Interesting stuff!

23 seconds in, (granted i didn't read anything on the site, went straight to the video), is that Nine Inch Nails music?! I'm confused AND intrigued. Maybe I should actually read the webpage

Yeah, the music is just there to make you focus only on the visual.
I did not watch this, but I think he pretty much did not edit it at all if I understand well. It's just the way he, as a filmaker, like to sometimes watch movies to focus on how it was shot. If I understood it well.
Not exactly a "fanedit" to me. More an exercise of style to create a new way of looking at things. More of a learning tool.
 
I wrote a several-paragraph review of Raiders on my ipad Notes program, and Notes just whisked that draft into oblivion.

seems i'm not the only person on the planet to have lost my note to Notes. This program is a serial killer of sorts.
